The Graduate Programme Biodiversity-Bioresources is launching a call for applications for two PhD contract fundings as part of the SFRI GRADUATE+ program.
The recruited student must have completed at least a master’s degree (or equivalent) abroad (official proof required).
The recruited student must have ranked within the top 20% of their master’s cohort (official certificate required).
The proposed PhD project must be at the core of the GI BB’s research topics and demonstrate feasibility, including financial viability.
The supervisor must be affiliated with one of the partner laboratories of the GI BB (see the list on https://graduate-plus.fr/en/biodiversity-bioresources/).
Each GI BB partner laboratory may submit one (or two max) PhD projects, strictly adhering to the above eligibility criteria. Each laboratory may propose only one candidate per PhD project.
The candidate selected by the laboratory will be interviewed by a committee composed of scientists from different doctoral schools and complemented by the GI BB steering committee members.

The PhD thesis must begin no later than 1st September 2026. The funding corresponds to the amount of a French ministerial research grant. The SFRI funding covers 36 months, with no additional months of funding available.
