The Graduate School of Medical Device Engineering of the University of Lyon 1 is attached to Polytech Lyon. Research is placed at the heart of the training. Thanks to the union between training and research, you will benefit from a high-quality training and therefore have an impact on the medical device.

You might be wondering, what a medical device is?
Medical devices (MD) are defined as apparatuses, software, hardware or methods used for diagnosis or rehabilitation purposes (except human products). They can be used on their own or in association, for medical purposes on humans. The main action cannot be obtained through pharmaceutical, immunological or metabolic means.
when entering the Graduate + Initiatives Master programme, students will work closely with the pedagogical teams and laboratories to build their academic project.
All the courses from the Master Medical Device Engineering are delivered in English. You can tailor the program according to your professional project. You will be able to choose your courses from a wide selection.
