As part of its international outreach strategy, the BB Graduate+ program is accepting applications for outbound mobility scholarships for first- and second-year master’s students who will be completing an internship abroad in 2027.

Eligibility criteria : 

First- and second-year students in the core master’s programs of the Graduate Initiative in Biodiversity and Bioresources are eligible to apply for these outbound mobility scholarships:

  1. Master’s in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution,

  2. Master’s in Microbiology,

  3. Master’s in Environmental Management,

  4. Master’s in Plant Biology,

  5. Master’s 2 in Integrated Watershed Sciences

Evaluation criteria :

Outbound mobility applications must correspond to mobility requirements (internships) included in the applicant’s curriculum. These applications must fall within the disciplinary fields of Biodiversity and Bioresources and meet the general objectives of the BB Graduate Initiative (“…develop an international training initiative, with a strong research-based background, on the dynamics, evolution, preservation, and management of biodiversity and bioresources, including the quality/health of organisms and ecosystems and the production of food resources…”

The evaluation criteria are:

  • completion of an international internship,

  • submission of a research-oriented internship topic in the academic or socio-economic sectors,

  • submission of a multidisciplinary internship topic,

  • quality of the justification (see scholarship application form below) for the application in relation to the general objectives of the GI BB

  • ranking in the top half of the class during the academic year preceding the application (L3 for M1 applications, and M1 for M2 applications)

The number of applications per master’s program must be consistent with the budget projections for outbound scholarships. This criterion will be taken into account when making decisions in the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of available scholarships. Finally, the academic quality of the application will be considered when selecting among excess applicants.

  • A certificate verifying your English proficiency

  • A certificate of enrollment

  • A transcript of grades for current degrees

Evaluation by the GI BB Council: late December 2026 for M2 students and late February for M1 students.
