We are pleased to announce the launch of the mobility scholarship program for students enrolled in the GI Lyon Polymer Materials Science (LPMS) programs who wish to complete an internship in a laboratory abroad and gain international experience.
The GI LPMS aims to train students in the field of materials science, with a specialization in polymer materials. Combining excellence in teaching with high-level research, this program seeks to provide innovative solutions to two major challenges: societal issues and sustainable development, as well as the need for functional and adaptive materials.
These scholarships are intended for students who wish to complete their Master’s 1, Master’s 2, or 5th-year Polytech program internship outside of France.

Master Chimie et Sciences des Matériaux (M1 : Chimie et Sciences des Matériaux, M2 : Materials and Sustainable Development, Matériaux et procédés Avancés 3D/2D, Conception et Cycle de Vie des Matériaux, Lyon Polymer Materials Science) ;
Master Chimie physique et analytique (M1 et M2 : Formulation et Chimie Industrielle, M2 : Analyses physico-chimiques) ;
Master Ingénierie de la santé (M2 Cosmétologie industrielle) ;
Master Chimie (M2 Chimie Inorganique, M2 Synthesis, Catalysis and Sustainable Chemistry) ;
The scholarship amount is €600 per month for 5 months, for a total of €3,000 per scholarship recipient.
The Graduate+ Mobility Scholarship may be combined with other financial aid programs, provided that those programs allow it.
Be a student enrolled in one of the GI LPMS programs at Lyon 1 University
The internship must be completed in a foreign country or in a French overseas territory, other than the student’s country of origin or residence
The relevance and quality of the internship proposal;
The motivation and coherence of the mobility proposal;
The expected impact on the student’s academic and professional path.

The following must be included with your application:
Copy of an official identity document
Curriculum vitae (CV – 1 page), updated to include the student’s current course of study
Cover letter
Description of the research project (objectives, scientific context, methodology, expected results, etc.) (1 to 2 pages)
Letter of acceptance from the host foreign institution/laboratory
Letter recommendation: the recommendation letter will be sent directly by the referee.
To do this, you will be asked to provide the referee’s email address so that they can upload their recommendation letter directly to the platform via a dedicated link.
The jury will meet the week of January 11, 2027, and the results will be announced the week of January 18, 2027.
