Professor Dave Haddleton joins LPMS as Visiting Professor in April 2025
Professor Dave Haddleton, a world-renowned expert in polymer chemistry, is joining the Lyon Polymer Materials Science (LPMS) Graduate Initiative as a Visiting Professor in April 2025. Based at the Department of Chemistry, University of Warwick (UK), Professor Haddleton will be hosted by the CP2M Laboratory (UMR 5128) during his stay in Lyon.
Throughout the month, he will deliver a series of high-level seminars on current topics in advanced polymer science:
3 April – Flow chemistry and online monitoring of polymerisation
7 April – 3D printing and drug delivery applications
10 April – Tackling environmental challenges of plastics
17 April – Transdermal drug delivery & spin-off creation
24 April – Copper-mediated living radical polymerisation
His visit represents a valuable opportunity for scientific exchange between local researchers, students and one of the leading figures in the field of polymers and applied chemistry.
