Call for applications from June 05 to July 06, 2024

Master 2 “Musculo-Skeletal system, Locomotion, Exercise”

Within the Graduate + project, the MuSkLE Graduate programme is very proud to announce Excellence scholarships in support of M2 students for the academic year 2024-2025.

These scholarships are intended for foreign students wishing to enroll in the Master 2 “Musculo-Skeletal system, Locomotion, Exercise”.

 

Field of teaching unique in France: from the molecular to the integrative level of the Musculo-Skeletal system

  • All courses in English – 20 students maximum per promotion (>50% foreigners)

  • Disciplines: Cell biology, Physiology, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Health, Sport sciences

  • 10-months internship in one of the 18 research teams of the MuSkLE consortium

 

The amount of the scholarship is €1,000 per month for 10 months, totaling €10,000 per year per recipient. (10 scholarships available for the upcoming academic year)

This scholarship is compatible with other international mobility aid programmes.

Eligibility criteria: 

  • To be a foreign student living outside of France at the time of the application

  • 1 year of Master obtained before July 2023 in the field of Biology, Biomechanics, Health, Kinesiology, Medicine, Physiology, Sport sciences, or any field related to musculo-Skeletal system

 

Selection criteria:

  • Excellence of the academic background

  • Internship experiences and technical skills in research

  • Motivation and consistency of the professional project

How to apply

2 applications periods have been set up for this call:

  • Application period 1: April, 1 – May 15, 2024

  • Application period 2: June, 5 – July 6, 2024

To be enclosed with the application:
  • Certificate of English level B1 (except for English native speakers)

  • Curriculum Vitae

  • Proof of diplomas – level of 4 years in a Higher Education Establishment (240 ECTS)

  • Description of studies

  • Copy of an official identity document

  • Letter of motivation

  • Copy of academic transcripts

  • SFRI Graduate + Contact form

Administrative procedure

In parallel with the above procedure, students should act according to their situation:

Students living abroad in a country not covered by the Campus France-Etudes en France scheme must apply via eCandidat (https://ecandidat.univ-lyon1.fr/) until:

  • May 15, 2024 for period 1

  • July 7, 2024 for period 2

Students living in one of the countries covered by the CAMPUSFRANCE / ETUDES EN FRANCE scheme must follow the CEF (Centre pour les Etudes en France) procedure on the Etudes en France server (electronic file).

Students must consult the Campus France website for their country of residence or contact them to find out about the dates and procedures to be followed: https://www.campusfrance.org/fr/espaces.

 

Selection procedure

For period 1, the jury will meet on May 23, and notifications will be issued on May 24.

For period 2, the jury will meet on July 7, and notifications will be issued on July 16
