Innovative Therapeutic and Surveillance Strategies for Infectious Diseases and Cancers

The aim of the IVID (Immunology, Vaccinology and Infectious Diseases) Summer School 2025 is to train students in innovative therapeutic and surveillance strategies for infectious diseases and cancers. 

The course will combine four keynotes and associated workshops on

  1. the impact of vaccines on the emergence/evolution of infectious diseases; 

  2. New digital health technologies for infectious disease/antibiotic resistance surveillance

  3. Phagotherapy for antibiotic-resistant infections

  4. Cancer immunotherapy

Dates 

  • Main event: 2–3 September 2025

Registration

  •  Free but mandatory

  • You must select one workshop (you will need to register for one of the 4 workshops. Please rank choices 1 and 2 among the 4)

  • Deadline: 18 August 2025

  • Maximum number of participants: 100

  • The official language of the summer school is English

Who can apply?

We welcome Master’s level students from:

  • Lyon1 and international M1 Master BMC, LIVE and BBM;

  • Master 2 LIVE, 3i, Infectious diseases, BBM;

  • EUR eid@lyon.
